Kathy & I arrived in Venice on September 2nd after a long day of train travel from Montepulciano! A "local" train took us to Florence (our 3rd time there at the train station), then we caught a fast train to Venice. The trip went through Padua as well. We enjoyed our train travel in Italy although lugging our suitcases up & down the steps to the platforms sometimes was a challenge. At least in Florence all the platforms were all in one level. |
